The team, a collaborative ensemble from Eastern Health's Children and Women's Health and Laboratory Medicine, is committed to delivering fertility support to those living in Newfoundland. NLFS' services are extensive and designed to address every stage of the fertility journey-from pre-conceptual counseling and fertility assessments to advanced treatments like in-vitro fertilization (IVF) and fertility preservation. They also specialize in facilitating out-of-province referrals and providing satellite monitoring to ensure seamless, continuous care. They partner with Ottawa Fertility Centre for those requiring IVF treatment. The NLFS team comprises dedicated professionals including physicians, nurses, administrative assistants, and laboratory technicians, all working together to support our clients. They operate out of the Major's Path Clinic in St. John's, offering a range of services to adults over 18 years of age. In addition to clinical services, we provide financial support for out-of-province treatments through a government-backed fertility subsidy, underscoring our commitment to accessible fertility care for all.
